Hi! Nice to meet you. I'm a Gen X gal from New York City, I've got a degree in Broadcasting, and I answer calls from numbers I don't recognize :)

Like many kids of my generation I spent a great deal of time on the telephone. There was no texting, email, or social media in those days, so if you wanted to communicate with someone, the phone was the way to do it.

The day after my 16th birthday I began a part time job at a local shoe store so I'd have a little cash to pay for my own phone line. My parents agreed to pay the installation fee as they were pleased this meant their line would now be free in the evenings :)

I'm easy to talk to and I'm a good listener. I've made phone calls for friends and family when there were calls they did not wish to make. That got me wondering if there were other people I might help in the same way. Thus, the Difficult Call Connection was born.
